Hanes Hitches Up: 32 Dividend Stocks Increasing Payouts

When it rains it pours, and with earnings season now in full fever, a full slate of dividend stocks announced increased payouts.

Companies Increasing DividendsThirty-two dividend stocks improved their payouts to investors, including cable giant Time Warner Cable (TWC). Here’s a look at the new dividend paid out to TWC stock holders, along with improvements from other dividend stocks this week.

(Note: All dividend yields are as of Jan. 31.)

Natural gas and gas liquids owner and operator Access Midstream Partners (ACMP) raised its quarterly distribution 23.5% to 55.5 cents per unit for its Common and Class C units, payable on Feb. 14 to unit holders of record as of Feb. 7.
ACMP Dividend Yield: 3.96%

Utility holding company Allete (ALE) raised its quarterly dividend 3.2% to 49 cents per share, payable on Mar. 1 to shareholders of record as of Feb. 14.
ALE Dividend Yield: 3.94%

Aerospace and technology products company Alliant Techsystems (ATK) raised its quarterly dividend 23% to 32 cents per share, payable on Mar. 27 to shareholders of record as of Mar. 4.
ATK Dividend Yield: 0.92%

Residential apartments real estate investment trust (REIT) Apartment Management and Investment Company (AIV) raised its quarterly dividend 8% to 26 cents per share, payable on Feb. 28 to shareholders of record as of Feb. 14.
AVI Dividend Yield: 3.74%

Industrial components distributor Applied Industrial Technologies (AIT) raised its quarterly dividend 8.7% to 25 cents per share, payable on Feb. 28 to shareholders of record as of Feb. 14.
AIT Dividend Yield: 1.98%

Water heating equipment manufacturer and distributor A.O. Smith (AOS) raised its quarterly dividend 25% to 15 cents per share, payable on Feb. 18 to shareholders of record as of Feb. 7.
AOS Dividend Yield: 1.26%

Apartment community real estate investment trust (REIT) AvalonBay Communities (AVB) raised its quarterly dividend 8.4% to $1.16 per share, payable on Apr. 15 to shareholders of record as of Mar. 31.
AVB Dividend Yield: 3.77%

Diversified energy company Black Hills (BKH) raised its quarterly dividend 2.6% to 39 cents per share, payable on Mar. 1 to shareholders of record as of Feb. 14. This is the 44th consecutive annual dividend increase, proving why utilities make such consistent dividend stocks.
BKH Dividend Yield: 2.84%

Global semi-conductor solutions provider Broadcom (BRCM) raised its quarterly dividend 9.1% to 12 cents per share, payable on Mar. 3 to shareholder of record as of Feb. 14.
BRCM Dividend Yield: 1.59%

Utility holding company California Water (CWT) raised its quarterly dividend 1.5% to 16.25 cents per share, payable on Feb. 21 to shareholders of record as of Feb. 10.
CWT Dividend Yield: 2.78%

Information, entertainment, and cable provider Comcast (CMCSA) raised its quarterly dividend 15.4% to 22.5 cents per share, payable on Apr. 23 to shareholders of record as of Apr. 2.
CMCSA Dividend Yield: 1.67%

Maternity apparel designer and retailer Destination Maternity (DEST) raised its quarterly dividend 6.7% to 20 cents per share, payable on Mar. 28 to shareholders of record as of Mar 7.
DEST Dividend Yield: 2.96%

Chemicals manufacturer and distributor Dow Chemical (DOW) raised its quarterly dividend 15% to 37 cents per share, payable on Apr. 30 to shareholders of record as of Mar. 31.
DOW Dividend Yield: 3.24%

Banking and payments services and support company Fidelity National Information Services (FIS) raised its quarterly dividend 9% to 24 cents per share, payable on Mar. 31 to shareholders of record as of Mar. 17.
FIS Dividend Yield: 1.90%

The biggest increase among our dividend stocks this week was a tie between two companies, including consumer apparel brands manufacturer Hanesbrand (HBI), which raised its quarterly dividend 50% to 30 cents per share, payable on Mar. 11 to shareholders of record as of Feb. 18.
HBI Dividend Yield: 1.68%

Financial advisory and asset manager Lazard (LAZ) raised its quarterly dividend 20% to 30 cents per share, payable on Feb. 21 to shareholders of record as of Feb. 10.
LAZ Dividend Yield: 2.79%

Refined petroleum products distributor Magellan Midstream Partners (MMP) raised its quarterly dividend 4.9% to 58.5 cent per share, payable on Feb. 14 to shareholders of record as of Feb. 7.
MMP Dividend Yield: 3.53%

Financial intelligence company McGraw-Hill (MHFI) raised its quarterly dividend 7.1% to 30 cents per share, payable on Mar. 12 to shareholders of record as of Feb. 26.
MHFI Dividend Yield: 1.57%

Long-term care and senior housing real estate investment trust National Health Investors (NHI) raised its quarterly dividend 6.2% to 77 cents per share, payable on May 9 to shareholders of record as of Mar. 31. NHI stock has the second-highest yield on this week’s list of dividend stocks increasing payouts.
NHI Dividend Yield: 4.88%

Thermal energy asset provider NRG Yield (NYLD) raised its quarterly dividend 10% to 33 cents per share, payable on Mar. 17 to shareholders of record as of Mar. 3.
NYLD Dividend Yield: 3.32%

Off-shore drilling contractor Noble Corp. (NE) raised its quarterly dividend 50% to 37.5 cents per share, payable on Feb. 20 to shareholders of record as of Feb. 10. That 50% hike ties Hanesbrand as the highest increase on this week’s list of dividend stocks increasing payouts.
NE Dividend Yield: 4.78%

International insurance holding company PartnerRe Ltd. (PRE) raised its quarterly dividend 5% to 67 cents per share, payable on Feb. 28 to shareholders of record as of Feb. 18.
PRE Dividend Yield: 2.72%

Motion and control technology manufacturer Parker-Hannifan (PH) raised its quarterly dividend 7% to 48 cents per share, payable on Mar. 7 to shareholders of record as of Feb. 10.
PH Dividend Yield: 1.69%

Automotive retailer Penske Automotive (PAG) raised its quarterly dividend 5.9% to 18 cents per share, payable on Mar. 3 to shareholders of record as of Feb. 10.
PAG Dividend Yield: 1.69%

Industrial gasses supplier Praxair (PX) raised its quarterly dividend 8% to 65 cents per share, payable on Mar. 17 to shareholders of record as of Mar. 7.
PX Dividend Yield: 2.08%

Natural gas and gas liquids processor and distributor Regency Energy Partners (RGP) raised its quarterly dividend 6.7% to 47.5 cents per share, payable on Feb. 14 to shareholders of record as of Feb. 7. At more than 6%, RGP stock has the highest yield on this week’s list of dividend stock increases.

Pest and termite control company Rollins (ROL) raised its quarterly dividend 16.6% to 10.5 cents per share, payable on Mar. 10 to shareholders of record as of Feb. 10.
ROL Dividend Yield: 1.44%

Consumer products manufacturer Spectrum Brands (SPB) raised its quarterly dividend 20% to 30 cents per share, payable on Mar. 18 to shareholders of record as of Feb. 19.
SPB Dividend Yield: 1.58%

Public water utility holding company SJW (SJW) raised its quarterly dividend 2.7% to 18.75 cents per share, payable on Mar. 3 to shareholders of record as of Feb. 10.
SJW Dividend Yield: 2.62%

Crude oil and refined petroleum products logistics company Sunoco Logistics Partners (SXL) raised its quarterly dividend 5.2% to 66.25 cents per share, payable on Feb. 14 to shareholders of record as of Feb. 10.
SXL Dividend Yield: 3.40%

Video, high speed data, and voice services provider Time Warner Cable (TWC) raised its quarterly dividend 15% to 75 cents per share, payable on Mar. 17 to shareholders of record as of Feb. 28.
TWC Dividend Yield: 2.24%

Health benefits provider company WellPoint (WLP) raised its quarterly dividend 17% to 43.75 cents per share, payable on Mar. 25 to shareholders of record as of Mar. 10.
WLP Dividend Yield: 2.02%
