GM won the Car of the Year title with its 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. Gm then went on to win the Truck of the Year title with its 2014 Chevrolet Silverado. Both the Silverado and Stingray underwent redesigns for their 2014 models, reports the Chicago Tribune.

“We’re doing these things again that we haven’t done in many, many years in car segments as well as the truck segments,” Mark Reuss, president of GM North America, told MLive.com. “So, these two sort of punctuate that today.”

General Motors isn’t the only automaker that did well at the Detroit Auto Show. Ford (F) debuted its 2015 F-150 at the show and several other manufacturers showed off concept cars.
