Isaac Asimov, a writer of science-fiction novels, made some pretty amazing prediction of what 2014 would be like 50 years ago.
Here are Isaac Asimov’s predictions that came true by 2014, as listed by the Huffington Post.
- “By 2014, electroluminescent panels will be in common use.” - Isaac Asimov’s prediction turned out to be true, as flat screen TV’s and retail displays use electroluminescent panels.
- “Gadgetry will continue to relieve mankind of tedious jobs.” - It doesn’t take much to look around the world and see that this prediction came true.
- “Communications will become sight-sound and you will see as well as hear the person you telephone.” – Skype anyone?
- “Robots will neither be common nor very good in 2014, but they will be in existence.” - Right again, Isaac Asimov.
