Here are Isaac Asimov’s predictions that came true by 2014, as listed by the Huffington Post.

  • “By 2014, electroluminescent panels will be in common use.” – Isaac Asimov’s prediction turned out to be true, as flat screen TV’s and retail displays use electroluminescent panels.
  • “Gadgetry will continue to relieve mankind of tedious jobs.” – It doesn’t take much to look around the world and see that this prediction came true.
  • “Communications will become sight-sound and you will see as well as hear the person you telephone.” – Skype anyone?
  • “Robots will neither be common nor very good in 2014, but they will be in existence.” – Right again, Isaac Asimov.
