Google’s (GOOG) new high-tech headgear, Google Glass, hasn’t hit retail shelves yet, but there is already a sex app in development.
Sex with Glass is the brainchild of Sherif Maktabi, a Lebanese student attending college in London. The app is aimed at allowing people wearing Google Glass to use the headgear’s camera to stream live video of themselves — and their partners — while they get, ah, intimate, the Guardian notes.
With the app, Google Glass wearers will be able to stream their steamy encounters and share them with prurient-minded friends. Videos posted through the Google Glass app will be deleted within five hours, which is probably for the best.
The developers behind Sex with Glass don’t want Google Glass owners to be the only people in on the fun. In February, the plan to launch an app for Apple’s (AAPL) iPhone.
Google Glass has already spurred concern among privacy advocates and legislators. Last year, members of Congress sent a letter to Google co-founder Larry Page expressing their concerns about the impact of Google Glass on privacy.
