The Sands Casino Resort (LVS) in Bethlehem, Las Vegas is being accused of having casino snakes slithering around.
The hotel immediately denied these claims which were fueled by a social media post. Someone on Facebook had a snake bite and the person’s doctor asked them if they had been to the Sands Casino Resort. Many immediately jumped to conclusions and started talking about casino snakes.
Casino spokesperson Julia Corwin said that there would be no way the casino wouldn’t know if they had snakes. Even the authorities denied these claims with state police Trooper William Ortiz saying that there are “absolutely no snakes in this place.”
LVS stock is down over 1% in early trading Wednesday.
