The gift cards are now available[4] in select areas in Mainland China ahead of the Lunar New Year. The cards come in three different designs: Thank You, Kind Regards and Happy Lunar New Year. The Lunar New Year gift card is also available in select U.S. stores.

Starbucks China CEO Belinda Wong said that the Lunar New Year is a time when “family and friends gather to meet, connect and share stories. The Card is a convenient way for customers to recognize special people in their lives in a meaningful way and give the gift of Starbucks® coffee.”

SBUX stock is down 0.1% in early trading Friday and 1.65% YTD.
