Adkins was scheduled to be a part of SeaWorld’s Bands, Blues & BBQ concert. However, he cancelled after CNN aired a documentary about how killer whales are treated at the park. Currently, only two performers remain on board for the concert, Justin Moore and Scotty McCreery. Performers started dropping out of the concert after petitions and social media posts started focusing on those who had signed to play at the concert, reports CNN.

Other acts that have cancelled their SeaWorld concert appearances include Bare Naked Ladies, Trisha Yearwood, Cheap Trick, 38 Special, Willie Nelson and Heart. SeaWorld is currently working to replace the acts that have cancelled, CNN notes.

Country singer Martina McBride announced in December[4] that she wouldn’t be performing at the SeaWorld concert via Facebook (FB[5]). With all its performers cancelling, SeaWorld has removed the schedule for its Bands, Blues & BBQ concert from its website.
