A trip to Disney World just got more expensive as the resort has upped prices from $94 a day per person to $99 a day per person.
The Disney (DIS) theme park last raised its prices in June 2012 when tickets went from $89 to $95. The new ticket prices apply to visitors 10 and older, Detroit Free Press notes.
Disney World ticket prices for children under 10-years old are set at $93 and kids under three get in for free.
“Our pricing reflects the high quality and breadth of experiences we offer and our ongoing commitment to investing in our parks,” Kim Prunty, a Disney spokeswoman, told ABC News. “We offer a variety of ticket options that provide a great value, and find that most guests select multi-day tickets that offer additional savings.”
Disney World isn’t the only theme park upping prices, Epcot, Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios are all increasing their ticket prices for a single day from $90 to $94. The price jump for a Disney World ticket may also result in Universal Orlando Resort increasing its ticker prices, reports Detroit Free Press.
