Duck Commander, the company at the focus of Duck Dynasty, has signed a sponsorship deal with NASCAR.
The Duck Commander sponsorship will have the April 6th race at the Texas Motor Speedway being called the Duck Commander 500 for the next three years. The sponsorship will include appearances by Duck Dynasty’s Robertson family and will also bring Duck Commander products to the location. Included in these additions is Uncle Si’s Tea, which will be served at Texas Motor Speedway concession stands, reports SportingNews.com.
“We’re excited about the partnership for the Duck Commander 500, being aligned with NASCAR, and to have our brand associated with an event of this magnitude,” Willie Robertson, CEO of Duck Commander, told SportingNews.com.
This isn’t the first time that the Duck Dynasty family and NASCAR have worked together. In 2013, NASCAR racer Clint Bowyer featured the family on the hood of his car after appearing in a 2012 episode and talking about NASCAR sponsorship.
