Online gambling is already legal in New Jersey, Nevada and Delaware and it looks like these aren’t the only states that support gambling.
At least 10 other U.S. states are looking to make online gambling legal even though the chances of a national law that would legalize Internet poker is unlikely. However, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Iowa, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Mississippi, New Jersey and Pennsylvania are proposing new or expanded Internet betting.
California could be the biggest market for online betting as several Indian tribes have already been looking at how to legalize Internet poker. New Jersey has been successful with its online gambling legalization as 15 Internet gambling sites raked in about $8.4 million between late November launch and the end of 2014.
Several other states could also be interested in legalizing online betting.
