• Legg Mason Inc (LM[4]): LM stock is up 2.6% to a new 52-week high of $48.35.

• Phh Corp (PHH[5]): PHH stock is up 2.5% today.

• The Carlyle Group L.P. (CG[6]): CG stock is up 2.3%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Raymond James Financial (RJF[7]): RJF stock is up 2.1% today.

• The Blackstone Group L.P. (BX[8]): BX stock is up 2.0% today.

• Health Net Inc (HNT[9]): HNT stock is up 1.8% today.

• Wellpoint Health Networks Inc (WLP[10]): WLP stock is up 1.7% today.

Some of the biggest losers among financial stocks include:

• International Bancshares Corp (IBOC[15]): IBOC stock is down 1.3%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Manulife Financial Corp (MFC[16]): MFC stock is down 1.2%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.
