Microsoft (MSFT) is releasing Office iPad apps on March 27 as the company continues to make more products compatible with Apple (AAPL) devices.
Satya Nadella will unveil the launch of Microsoft Office for iPad in his first press event as Microsoft CEO. The event will take place in San Francisco on March 27 and it will be a briefing about the intersection of cloud and mobile computing.
Naturally, only users with an Office 365 account can access the Office iPad apps which are expected to be similar to the Office iPhone apps.
Microsoft also announced a new subscription option for Office 365 Personal. Users can pay $6.99 a month or $69.99 a year for the product.
MSFT stock is up over 4% Tuesday and AAPL stock is up about 0.9%.
