The awards saw many Oscar 2014 winners and several films walked away with multiple awards (we’re looking at you Gravity). There were also several moments at the Oscars that got everyone talking.

Check out the following gallery to see the most-searched moments of Oscars 2014 on Google (GOOG[2]).

oscars-2014-most-searched-moments[3]Jared Leto was a hot topic[4] of Oscars 2014 over his stare down with Robert DeNiro.

Leto was giving his acceptance speech for Best Supporting Actor when he locked eyes with DeNiro. He said it was a mistake and that he moved on to looking at his mother for the erst of his speech, The New York Daily News notes.

Jennifer Lawrence was the subject of ridicule[6] from Ellen DeGeneres after she fell at Oscars 2014.

DeGeneres was quick to bring up Lawrence’s fall during her speech and even referenced back to the 2013 Oscars when she took a tumble on her way up to the stage, the Washington Post[7] notes.

Novak was blasted by many social media users for her stiff performance and trouble speaking. Other social media users jumped to Novak’s defense and said she deserved respect, reports E!

Nyong’o’s speech had her talking about the movie and saying that it she realizes she has so much joy in her life because of someone else’s pain. She then went on to honor the real-life people that were the subject of the film she was in, The Atlantic notes.

DiCaprio got his first Oscar nomination almost 20 years ago and has been nominated four times, but he has never won an Oscar. This has led to many people feeling bad for DiCaprio and rooting for him to win, The Telegraph notes.

Blanchett accepted her second Oscar in her career on Sunday for Best Actress. She won the award for her role in Blue Jasmine. Blanchett’s speech included praising the other women nominated for the award and saying that the movies with women in the lead role were more than just “niche experiences,” reports Reuters.
