Tesla (TSLA) has announced plans to expand its Supercharger network in Europe.
The company is planning on adding 30 new service centers and retail stores across the continent. This expansion will allow Tesla Model S owners to have more access to stations where they can refuel their vehicle for free.
“By the end of this year, we expect you will be able to travel almost anywhere in Europe using only Superchargers,” CEO Elon Musk said. There are currently 14 Supercharger stations in Europe which pale in comparison to the 78 in North America.
Tesla said it expected sales in Europe and Asia to be twice as high as North America by the end of 2014.
TSLA stock is up 1.7% in early trading Tuesday.
