Founded by three recent college students, the Los Angeles-based Everdream created the 60-second ad for the amazing cost of just $1,500. They weren’t paid by TSLA, which doesn’t use commercials to market its luxury electric vehicles, but TSLA has since highlighted the ad on its Twitter (TWTR) and Facebook (FB) accounts, notes.
The ad’s creators also met with TSLA founder and CEO Elon Musk in January and TSLA has signaled the possibility of upcoming projects.
Everdream filmed the ad in November. The company currently employs 14 people and has attracted seed funding and some clients.
TSLA stock fell more than 1% in Wednesday mid-day trading.
