Wayne Knight Death Hoax: Seinfeld’s Newman Is NOT Dead

Wayne Knight is not dead, says a very alive Wayne Knight — despite a death rumor that is rocking the web.

The Seinfeld and Jurassic Park star is the latest celebrity to be the victim of an online death rumor.

Via Huffington Post:

A site masquerading as Us Weekly[1] posted the story, which claimed Knight was the victim of a fatal car accident. According to Celebuzz[2], the story also appeared on a similarly fake version of TMZ.

Wayne Knight himself seemed to have fun with the rumor, tweeting that apparently someone “has to die to trend.”

He added that he was quite glad to be alive, despite the rumors that he was killed in a car crash in Pennsylvania.

Wayne Knight is recently starring in TV Land’s “The Exes.”

Knight gained fame by starring in Seinfeld as the nefarious Newman.
