Energy stocks finished up broadly 1.2% on Wall Street today.

More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average increased 1.0%, the Nasdaq was up 1.3% and the S&P 500 climbed 1.0%.

Some of the biggest gainers among energy stocks include:

• Alon USA Energy (ALJ[1]): ALJ stock is up 4.8%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Encana Corp (ECA[2]): ECA stock is up 4.2% to a new 52-week high of $23.27.

• Western Refining (WNR[3]): WNR stock is up 3.9%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Rosetta Resources Inc (ROSE[4]): ROSE stock is up 2.9%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Halcon Resources (HK[5]): HK stock is up 2.7% today on 2 times normal volume.

• Rex Energy Corp (REXX[6]): REXX stock is up 2.7%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Delek US Holdings (DK[7]): DK stock is up 2.5%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Marathon Petroleum Corp (MPC[8]): MPC stock is up 2.5%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• RPC Inc (RES[9]): RES stock is up 2.4%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Continental Resources (CLR[10]): CLR stock is up 2.2%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has increased.

Some of the biggest losers among energy stocks include:

• Key Energy Services (KEG[11]): KEG stock is down 1.5% today.

• Ep Energy Corp (EPE[12]): EPE stock is down 1.0% today.

• Holly Energy Partners L.P. (HEP[13]): HEP stock is down 1.2%, marking the fifth consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Matador Resources Company (MTDR[14]): MTDR stock is down 0.7% today.

• Pacific Drilling S.A. (PACD[15]): PACD stock is down 0.5% today.

• Ocean Rig Udw Inc (ORIG[16]): ORIG stock is down 0.4% today.

• Imperial Oil Limited (IMO[17]): IMO stock is down 0.4% today.

• Goodrich Petroleum Corp (GDP[18]): GDP stock is down 0.3% today and down 73.6% in the last month.

• Buckeye Partners L.P. (BPL[19]): BPL stock is down 0.2%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.
