Energy stocks rose broadly on Wall Street today, with the sector seeing an overall increase of 0.9%.

More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average increased 0.1%, the Nasdaq stayed level and the S&P 500 was up 0.1%.

Some of the biggest gainers among energy stocks include:

• Petroleo Brasileiro S.A.- Petrobras (PBR.A[1]): PBR.A stock is up 4.4% today and up 29.0% in the last month.

• Petroleo Brasileiro S.A.- Petrobras (PBR[2]): PBR stock is up 3.8% today and up 28.4% in the last month.

• Penn West Petroleum Ltd (PWE[3]): PWE stock is up 3.4%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Matador Resources Company (MTDR[4]): MTDR stock is up 2.8% to $26.77, near the 52-week high of $26.76.

• Nabors Industries (NBR[5]): NBR stock is up 2.9% today.

• Diamond Offshore Drilling (DO[6]): DO stock is up 2.6% today.

• Range Resources Corp (RRC[7]): RRC stock is up 2.4%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Southwestern Energy Company (SWN[8]): SWN stock is up 2.4%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Tetra Technologies (TTI[9]): TTI stock is up 2.4%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Cvr Energy Inc (CVI[10]): CVI stock is up 2.3%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has increased.

Some of the biggest losers among energy stocks include:

• Superior Energy Services (SPN[11]): SPN stock is down 1.0% today.

• Ngl Energy Partners LP (NGL[12]): NGL stock is down 0.7%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Flotek Industries (FTK[13]): FTK stock is down 0.7% today.

• Martin Midstream Partners L.P. (MMLP[14]): MMLP stock is down 0.7% today.

• Rose Rock Midstream L.P. (RRMS[15]): RRMS stock is down 0.6% today.

• Cenovus Energy Inc (CVE[16]): CVE stock is down 0.5% today.

• Enbridge Energy Management Llc (EEQ[17]): EEQ stock is down 0.3% today.
