Energy stocks rose broadly 0.5% on Wall Street so far on Tuesday.

More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average increased 0.1%, the Nasdaq was up 0.3% and the S&P 500 rose 0.1%.

Some of the biggest gainers among energy stocks include:

• Yanzhou Coal Mining Company (YZC[1]): YZC stock is up 5.4% today and up 20.8% in the last month.

• Alpha Natural Resources (ANR[2]): ANR stock is up 5.5% today.

• Petroleo Brasileiro S.A.- Petrobras (PBR[3]): PBR stock is up 4.1%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Petroleo Brasileiro S.A.- Petrobras (PBR.A[4]): PBR.A stock is up 4.0%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Arch Coal (ACI[5]): ACI stock is up 4.6% today and up 23.0% in the last month.

• Basic Energy Services (BAS[6]): BAS stock is up 3.7% today.

• Cosan Limited (CZZ[7]): CZZ stock is up 3.2%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Consol Energy Inc (CNX[8]): CNX stock is up 3.1% today.

• Cnooc Limited (CEO[9]): CEO stock is up 3.2%, marking the fifth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Flotek Industries (FTK[10]): FTK stock is up 2.9% today.

Some of the biggest losers among energy stocks include:

• Murphy Oil Corp (MUR[11]): MUR stock is down 1.3% today.

• Petrobras Argentina S.A. (PZE[12]): PZE stock is down 1.1%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Southwestern Energy Company (SWN[13]): SWN stock is down 1.0%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• IHS Inc (IHS[14]): IHS stock is down 0.8%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Atwood Oceanics (ATW[15]): ATW stock is down 0.8% today.

• Rose Rock Midstream L.P. (RRMS[16]): RRMS stock is down 0.6%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Qr Energy LP (QRE[17]): QRE stock is down 0.5% today.

• Holly Energy Partners L.P. (HEP[18]): HEP stock is down 0.5%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.
