According to an Etsy blog post, Etsy Wholesale went into beta last year and is expected to launch sometime during summer 2014. Sellers looking to join Etsy Wholesale have to pay a one-time fee of $100. After this, Etsy will collect a 3.5% transaction fee, the same fee used on Etsy.com, for wholesale orders.

Etsy Wholesale is designed to help sellers take their businesses to the next level. Retail buyers that are looking for specific items can place orders year round on the service. The service will also allow Etsy members to expand their reach through Etsy’s partners. This includes showing off merchandise at at events like trade shows, the Etsy blog post notes.

Those interetes in applying to join Etsy Wholesale can do so here[4].
