Mozilla Firefox Launches Major Redesign

Mozilla’s Firefox got a major redesign on Tuesday.

This feature makes it easier for people to keep connected on mobile devices and desktops. Tabs underwent a lot of changes in the update. The redesigned tabs no longer shrink down when more are opened and the active tab has rounded edges to highlight that it is the one in use, reports CNET.

Other new changes include moving the menu option from the left side of the screen to the right. The menu also now has icons that make it easy to use for computers with touch screens. Those who don’t like the new setup will be happy to know that Firefox still retains its heavy customization and that almost everything can be rearranged with dragging and dropping, CNET notes.

“It’s not an interface adjustment or tweak. It’s not a bug fix,” Jennifer Morrow, senior user experience designer at Mozilla, told PC World. “It’s a complete re-envisioning of Firefox’s user experience, and it’s been brewing for the past five years.”
