Capital goods stocks finished up broadly 1.5% on Wall Street on Wednesday.

More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 1.0%, the Nasdaq was up 1.3% and the S&P 500 pushed 1.0% higher.

Some of the biggest gainers among capital goods stocks include:

• Caesarstone Sdot-Yam Ltd (CSTE[1]): CSTE stock is up 3.7% today.

• Cemex S.A.B. De C.V. Sponsored (CX[2]): CX stock is up 2.9% today.

• Flowserve Corp (FLS[3]): FLS stock is up 2.9%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Idex Corp (IEX[4]): IEX stock is up 2.8% today.

• Cummins Inc (CMI[5]): CMI stock is up 2.5% today.

• SPX Corp (SPW[6]): SPW stock is up 2.4%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Eagle Materials Inc (EXP[7]): EXP stock is up 2.3%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Itt Industries (ITT[8]): ITT stock is up 2.1%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Terex Corp (TEX[9]): TEX stock is up 2.1% today.

• 3M Company (MMM[10]): MMM stock is up 2.0%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

Some of the biggest losers among capital goods stocks include:

• Urs Corp (URS[11]): URS stock is down 0.9% today.

• NVR Inc (NVR[12]): NVR stock is down 0.2%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.
