Capital goods stocks declined broadly on Wall Street so far on Friday, with the sector seeing an overall decline of 0.4%.
More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average declined 0.4%, the Nasdaq was down 0.6% and the S&P 500 declined 0.4%.
Some of the biggest gainers among capital goods stocks include:
- The Middleby Corp (MIDD[1]): MIDD stock is up 1.7% today.
- Flowserve Corp (FLS[2]): FLS stock is up 1.0% today.
- Agco Corp (AGCO[3]): AGCO stock is up 0.4% today.
- Timken Company (TKR[4]): TKR stock is up 0.4% today.
- Dresser-Rand Group Inc (DRC[5]): DRC stock is up 0.2% today.
- Pentair Ltd (PNR[6]): PNR stock is up 0.1% today.
Some of the biggest losers among capital goods stocks include:
- Masco Corp (MAS[7]): MAS stock is down 8.6% today.
- USG Corp (USG[8]): USG stock is down 4.1%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.
- Briggs & Stratton Corp (BGG[9]): BGG stock is down 3.2%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.
- Flir Systems (FLIR[10]): FLIR stock is down 2.7% today.
- Fortune Brands Home & Security (FBHS[11]): FBHS stock is down 2.6% today.
- Eagle Materials Inc (EXP[12]): EXP stock is down 2.3%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has decreased.
- Barnes Group (B[13]): B stock is down 3.1%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has decreased.
- Caesarstone Sdot-Yam Ltd (CSTE[14]): CSTE stock is down 2.1%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.
- Meritage Corp (MTH[15]): MTH stock is down 1.8% today.
- Mastec Inc (MTZ[16]): MTZ stock is down 1.8% today.
