Capital goods stocks finished up 0.7% on Wall Street today.

More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average pushed 0.3% higher, the Nasdaq was up 0.3% and the S&P 500 rose 0.3%.

Some of the biggest gainers among capital goods stocks include:

• Mastec Inc (MTZ[1]): MTZ stock is up 2.0% to a new 52-week high of $44.23.

• Orbital Sciences Corp (ORB[2]): ORB stock is up 1.9%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Joy Global Inc (JOY[3]): JOY stock is up 1.6%, marking the fifth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Trinity Industries (TRN[4]): TRN stock is up 1.5%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Ingersoll-Rand Plc (Ireland) (IR[5]): IR stock is up 1.3% today.

• L-3 Communications Holdings (LLL[6]): LLL stock is up 1.2% to a new 52-week high of $120.19.

• Lennar Corp (LEN.B[7]): LEN.B stock is up 1.2%, marking the fifth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• KBR Inc (KBR[8]): KBR stock is up 1.1%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Primoris Services Corp (PRIM[9]): PRIM stock is up 1.1%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Meritage Corp (MTH[10]): MTH stock is up 1.1%, marking the fifth consecutive day the stock has increased.

Some of the biggest losers among capital goods stocks include:

• Beacon Roofing Supply (BECN[11]): BECN stock is down 1.5% today.

• BE Aerospace (BEAV[12]): BEAV stock is down 0.6% today.
