Consumer cyclical stocks advanced broadly on Wall Street on Thursday morning, with the sector seeing an overall increase of 0.1%.

More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.1%, the Nasdaq was down 0.2% and the S&P 500 declined 0.1%.

Some of the biggest gainers among consumer cyclical stocks include:

• Allison Transmission Holdings (ALSN[1]): ALSN stock is up 4.2% to a new 52-week high of $30.85.

• Drew Industries Inc (DW[2]): DW stock is up 2.0%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• La-Z-Boy Inc (LZB[3]): LZB stock is up 1.4%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Nike Inc (NKE[4]): NKE stock is up 1.1% today.

• Snap-On Inc (SNA[5]): SNA stock is up 0.9%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Quiksilver (ZQK[6]): ZQK stock is up 0.9%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Arvinmeritor (MTOR[7]): MTOR stock is up 1.0%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Tata Motors Ltd (TTM[8]): TTM stock is up 0.7% today.

• Hyster-Yale Materials Handling (HY[9]): HY stock is up 0.7%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• LKQ Corp (LKQ[10]): LKQ stock is up 0.8% today.

• Hon Industries Inc (HNI[11]): HNI stock is down 1.8% today.

• Honda Motor Company (HMC[12]): HMC stock is down 1.6% today.
