Hottest Energy Stocks Now – NGLS WPX HK PTR

Energy stocks rose broadly on Wall Street so far on Tuesday, with the sector seeing an overall increase of 0.3%.

More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 0.4%, the Nasdaq rose 1.0% and the S&P 500 climbed 0.4%.

Some of the biggest gainers among energy stocks include:

• Targa Resources Partners LP (NGLS[1]): NGLS stock is up 3.9%, marking the sixth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Wpx Energy Inc. Common Stock W (WPX[2]): WPX stock is up 2.5%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Halcon Resources (HK[3]): HK stock is up 1.8%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Petrochina Company Limited (PTR[4]): PTR stock is up 1.8% today.

• Petrobras Argentina S.A. (PZE[5]): PZE stock is up 1.8% today and up 21.0% in the last month.

• Gulfport Energy Corp (GPOR[6]): GPOR stock is up 1.9%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Bonanza Creek Energy Inc (BCEI[7]): BCEI stock is up 1.8% today.

• Basic Energy Services (BAS[8]): BAS stock is up 1.6% to a new 52-week high of $27.84.

• Atlas Pipeline Partners L.P. (APL[9]): APL stock is up 1.2%, marking the seventh consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Valero Energy Corp (VLO[10]): VLO stock is up 1.4%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

Some of the biggest losers among energy stocks include:

• Eog Resources (EOG[11]): EOG stock is down 49.4% to a new 52-week low of $99.20.

• McDermott International (MDR[12]): MDR stock is down 6.4% today.

• C&J Energy Services Inc (CJES[13]): CJES stock is down 1.5% today.

• Statoil ASA (STO[14]): STO stock is down 1.0%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Patterson-Uti Energy (PTEN[15]): PTEN stock is down 0.6% today.

• Diamond Offshore Drilling (DO[16]): DO stock is down 0.9% today.

• Nustar Gp Holdings Llc (NSH[17]): NSH stock is down 0.9% today.

• Ferrellgas Partners L.P. (FGP[18]): FGP stock is down 1.0% today.

• Teekay Offshore Partners L.P. (TOO[19]): TOO stock is down 0.7% today.
