Hottest Transportation Stocks Now – CSX NSC GWR SSW

Transportation stocks finished flat on Thursday on Wall Street.

More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed 0.1%, the Nasdaq remained flat and the S&P 500 increased 0.1%.

Some of the biggest gainers among transportation stocks include:

• CSX Corp (CSX[1]): CSX stock is up 1.3% today.

• Norfolk Southern Corp (NSC[2]): NSC stock is up 1.1%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Genesee & Wyoming (GWR[3]): GWR stock is up 1.0%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Seaspan Corp (SSW[4]): SSW stock is up 1.0% today.

• American Railcar Industries (ARII[5]): ARII stock is up 0.8% today.

• Ship Finance International (SFL[6]): SFL stock is up 0.8%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Union Pacific Corp (UNP[7]): UNP stock is up 0.8%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Landstar System (LSTR[8]): LSTR stock is up 0.8%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• C.H. Robinson Worldwide (CHRW[9]): CHRW stock is up 0.7% today.

• Mobile Mini (MINI[10]): MINI stock is up 0.7% to a new 52-week high of $45.14.

Some of the biggest losers among transportation stocks include:

• Teekay Shipping Corp (TK[11]): TK stock is down 0.3%, marking the fifth consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Kansas City Southern (KSU[12]): KSU stock is down 0.2% today.
