Utilities stocks finished down broadly on Wall Street on Thursday, with the sector seeing an overall decline of 1.2%.

More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average increased 0.1%, the Nasdaq was steady and the S&P 500 climbed 0.1%.

Some of the biggest gainers among utilities stocks include:

• Markwest Energy Partners LP (MWE[1]): MWE stock is up 1.9% today.

• Crestwood Midstream Partners LP (CMLP[2]): CMLP stock is up 1.3% today.

• Exterran Partners L.P. (EXLP[3]): EXLP stock is up 0.9% today.

• Enlink Midstream Partners LP (ENLK[4]): ENLK stock is up 0.9% today.

• Cheniere Energy (LNG[5]): LNG stock is up 0.8% today.

• California Water Service Group Holding (CWT[6]): CWT stock is up 0.3% today.

• American States Water Company (AWR[7]): AWR stock is up 0.3%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Huaneng Power Intl (HNP[8]): HNP stock is up 0.3%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Vectren Corp (VVC[9]): VVC stock is up 0.3% to a new 52-week high of $40.20.

• Cleco Power Llc (CNL[10]): CNL stock is up 0.2%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• NRG Energy (NRG[11]): NRG stock is down 1.4% today.

• Nextera Energy (NEE[12]): NEE stock is down 1.4% today.
