Utilities stocks declined on Wall Street today, down 0.2%.

More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 1.1%, the Nasdaq fell 0.9% and the S&P 500 was down 1.1%.

Some of the biggest gainers among utilities stocks include:

• Transalta Corp (TAC[1]): TAC stock is up 1.0% today.

• El Paso Electric Company (EE[2]): EE stock is up 0.6% today.

• Empire District Electric Company (EDE[3]): EDE stock is up 0.5% today.

• Trident Performance Group (TCP[4]): TCP stock is up 0.5% today.

• Enersis S A (ENI[5]): ENI stock is up 0.5% today.

• Cheniere Energy (LNG[6]): LNG stock is up 0.4% today on 3 times normal volume.

• Companhia Paranaense De Energia (ELP[7]): ELP stock is up 0.2% today and up 27.1% in the last month.

• Entergy Corp (ETR[8]): ETR stock is up 0.2%, marking the eighth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Scana Corp (SCG[9]): SCG stock is up 0.2%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Exterran Partners L.P. (EXLP[10]): EXLP stock is up 0.1%, marking the sixth consecutive day the stock has increased.

Some of the biggest losers among utilities stocks include:

• Cia De Saneamento Basico Do Estado (SBS[11]): SBS stock is down 2.3% today.

• Oge Energy Corp (OGE[12]): OGE stock is down 2.3%, marking the fifth consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Calpine Corp (CPN[13]): CPN stock is down 1.9% today.

• Centerpoint Energy Inc (CNP[14]): CNP stock is down 1.7%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Brookfield Infrastructure Partners LP (BIP[15]): BIP stock is down 1.7%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Itc Holdings (ITC[16]): ITC stock is down 1.5%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Ameren Corp (AEE[17]): AEE stock is down 1.5% today.

• NiSource Inc (NI[18]): NI stock is down 1.4% today.

• Black Hills Corp (BKH[19]): BKH stock is down 1.1%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Mdu Res Group Inc (MDU[20]): MDU stock is down 1.1% today.
