Hottest Utilities Stocks Now – TEG ATO NJR GAS

Utilities stocks finished up broadly on Wall Street on Tuesday, with the sector seeing an overall increase of 0.7%.

More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.7%, the Nasdaq was up 0.3% and the S&P 500 pushed 0.7% higher.

Some of the biggest gainers among utilities stocks include:

  • Integrys Energy Group (TEG): TEG stock is up 2.1% today.
  • Atmos Energy Corp (ATO): ATO stock is up 2.1% to a new 52-week high of $50.02.
  • Newjersey Resources Corp (NJR): NJR stock is up 2.0% today.
  • Agl Resources (GAS): GAS stock is up 2.0% to a new 52-week high of $51.58.
  • American Electric Power Company (AEP): AEP stock is up 2.0% to a new 52-week high of $52.29.
  • Potomac Electric Power Company (POM): POM stock is up 2.0% today.
  • Cpfl Energia S.A. (CPL): CPL stock is up 1.9%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has increased.
  • Dte Energy Company (DTE): DTE stock is up 1.7% to a new 52-week high of $76.80.
  • Avista Corp (AVA): AVA stock is up 1.7% today.
  • Centerpoint Energy Inc (CNP): CNP stock is up 1.7%, marking the sixth consecutive day the stock has increased.

Some of the biggest losers among utilities stocks include:

  • Markwest Energy Partners LP (MWE): MWE stock is down 1.0% today.
  • Enbridge Inc (ENB): ENB stock is down 0.4%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has decreased.
  • Oneok Partners L.P. (OKS): OKS stock is down 0.4% today.
  • Crestwood Midstream Partners LP (CMLP): CMLP stock is down 0.3% today.
  • California Water Service Group Holding (CWT): CWT stock is down 0.3% today.
