Priceline.com (PCLN) is changing its name to The Priceline Group.
The travel website decided to change its name in order to include the five different brands that make up The Priceline Group. The Priceline.com website came out in 1998 along with the company in order to make traveling cheaper.
Over the years, the company added four other website: Agoda.com, Booking.com, Rentalcars.com and Kayak, which the company acquired in late 2012 for $1.8 billion.
Priceline.com has enjoyed plenty of success over the years with PCLN stock rising 4600% over the past decade.
Priceline shareholders were thrilled with the news which saw PCLN stock rise 4.99% at Tuesday closing.
