Biggest Movers in Capital Goods Stocks Now – GTLS TEX PRIM VMC

Capital goods stocks advanced broadly on Wall Street on Monday morning, with the sector seeing an overall increase of 0.9%.

More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average increased 0.7%, the Nasdaq rose 1.1% and the S&P 500 climbed 0.7%.

Some of the biggest gainers among capital goods stocks include:

  • Chart Industries (GTLS): GTLS stock is up 2.9%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.
  • Terex Corp (TEX): TEX stock is up 3.5% today.
  • Primoris Services Corp (PRIM): PRIM stock is up 2.1% today.
  • Vulcan Materials Company (VMC): VMC stock is up 2.8% today.
  • Sensata Technologies Holding N.V. (ST): ST stock is up 2.5% today.
  • Manitowoc Company (MTW): MTW stock is up 2.6% today.
  • U.S. Silica Holdings Inc (SLCA): SLCA stock is up 2.5% today and up 20.6% in the last month.
  • Caesarstone Sdot-Yam Ltd (CSTE): CSTE stock is up 2.4% today.
  • Trinity Industries (TRN): TRN stock is up 2.0% to a new 52-week high of $79.92.
  • Texas Industries (TXI): TXI stock is up 2.1% today.

Only one stock in the capital goods sectors showed losses:

  • The Middleby Corp (MIDD): MIDD stock is down 1.3% today.
