Capital goods stocks finished flat on Friday on Wall Street.
More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.1%, the Nasdaq pushed 0.4% higher and the S&P 500 increased 0.1%.
Some of the biggest gainers among capital goods stocks include:
- M.D.C. Holdings (MDC[1]): MDC stock is up 1.7% today.
- Primoris Services Corp (PRIM[2]): PRIM stock is up 1.6% today.
- Dycom Industries (DY[3]): DY stock is up 1.6% today.
- Applied Industrial Technologies (AIT[4]): AIT stock is up 1.3% today.
- Standard Pacific LP (SPF[5]): SPF stock is up 1.3% today.
- KBR Inc (KBR[6]): KBR stock is up 1.3% today.
- Watsco Inc (WSO[7]): WSO stock is up 1.3% today.
- Granite Construction Inc (GVA[8]): GVA stock is up 0.9% today.
- Pultegroup (PHM[9]): PHM stock is up 0.9% today.
- Armstrong World Industries Inc (AWI[10]): AWI stock is up 0.9%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.
Some of the biggest losers among capital goods stocks include:
- Embraer-Empresa Brasileira De Aeronautica (ERJ[11]): ERJ stock is down 1.6% today.
- D.R. Horton (DHI[12]): DHI stock is down 1.0%, marking the fifth consecutive day the stock has decreased.
- CRH Plc (CRH[13]): CRH stock is down 1.0%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.
- Terex Corp (TEX[14]): TEX stock is down 0.9% today.
- Cummins Inc (CMI[15]): CMI stock is down 0.8% today.
- Pentair Ltd (PNR[16]): PNR stock is down 0.8% today.
- Jacobs Engineering Group Inc (JEC[17]): JEC stock is down 0.8% today.
- Transdigm Group Inc (TDG[18]): TDG stock is down 0.7% today.
- Texas Industries (TXI[19]): TXI stock is down 0.7%, marking the fifth consecutive day the stock has decreased.
