Capital goods stocks finished flat on Wednesday on Wall Street.

More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was unchanged, the Nasdaq was down 0.3% and the S&P 500 was steady.

Some of the biggest gainers among capital goods stocks include:

• Meritage Corp (MTH[1]): MTH stock is up 0.9%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Flir Systems (FLIR[2]): FLIR stock is up 0.5%, marking the fifth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Cemex S.A.B. De C.V. Sponsored (CX[3]): CX stock is up 0.5%, marking the fifth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• L-3 Communications Holdings (LLL[4]): LLL stock is up 0.5%, marking the fifth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Trinity Industries (TRN[5]): TRN stock is up 0.4% today and up 20.1% in the last month.

• Thor Industries (THO[6]): THO stock is up 0.4%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Wesco Aircraft Holdings Inc (WAIR[7]): WAIR stock is up 0.4%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Agco Corp (AGCO[8]): AGCO stock is up 0.4% today.

• Transdigm Group Inc (TDG[9]): TDG stock is up 0.4% to a new 52-week high of $188.03.

• Itt Industries (ITT[10]): ITT stock is up 0.3%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.
