Healthcare stocks rose broadly on Wall Street on Friday, with the sector seeing an overall increase of 0.6%.

More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.1%, the Nasdaq was up 0.4% and the S&P 500 increased 0.1%.

Some of the biggest gainers among healthcare stocks include:

• Puma Biotechnology (PBYI[2]): PBYI stock is up 5.4% today.

• Auxilium Pharmaceuticals (AUXL[3]): AUXL stock is up 3.3% today.

• Sarepta Therapeutics Inc (SRPT[4]): SRPT stock is up 3.2% today and up 24.4% in the last month.

• Arena Pharmaceuticals (ARNA[5]): ARNA stock is up 3.0% today.

• Opko Health Inc (OPK[6]): OPK stock is up 2.9% today.

• Msa Safety Inc. (MSA[7]): MSA stock is up 2.7%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Conmed Corp (CNMD[8]): CNMD stock is up 2.6%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Mckesson Corp (MCK[9]): MCK stock is up 2.6% today.

• Owens & Minor (OMI[10]): OMI stock is up 2.3% today.

• Sanofi-Aventis Sa (SNY[14]): SNY stock is down 1.3%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Mwi Veterinary Supply (MWIV[15]): MWIV stock is down 1.2%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Furiex Pharmaceuticals (FURX[16]): FURX stock is down 1.1% today and down 21.3% in the last month.

• Smith & Nephew Snats (SNN[17]): SNN stock is down 0.9% today.

• Neogen Corp (NEOG[18]): NEOG stock is down 0.7% to a new 52-week low of $36.73.

• Regeneron Pharmaceuticals (REGN[19]): REGN stock is down 0.6%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has decreased.
