Fox News anchor Gregg Jarrett was arrested at an airport bar on Wednesday.
Jarrett, 59 was arrested at the Northern Lights Grill located in the main terminal of the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. An Airport spokeman said that the Fox News anchor appeared to be intoxicated and that he refused to cooperate with police, reports the Associated Press.
Police records show that the Fox News anchor was held in the Hennepin County Jail. He was charged with obstructing the legal process/interfering with a peace officer. Jarrett posted his $300 bond and was released on Thursday, the Associated Press notes.
“We were made aware late last night that Gregg Jarrett was arrested in Minneapolis yesterday and charged with a misdemeanor,” Fox News told Reuters. “He is dealing with serious personal issues at this time. A date at which Gregg might return to air has yet to be determined.”
