More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average increased 0.2%, the Nasdaq pushed 0.3% higher and the S&P 500 climbed 0.2%.
Some of the biggest gainers among capital goods stocks include:
- James Hardie Industries Se (JHX[1]): JHX stock is up 4.3% today.
- Empresas Ica Soc Contrladora (ICA[2]): ICA stock is up 2.9% today and up 23.7% in the last month.
- Exelis Inc. Common Stock New Wh (XLS[3]): XLS stock is up 1.3% today.
- D.R. Horton (DHI[4]): DHI stock is up 1.8% today.
- KB Home (KBH[5]): KBH stock is up 1.8% today.
- Lennar Corp (LEN.B[6]): LEN.B stock is up 1.1% today.
- Lindsay Corp (LNN[7]): LNN stock is up 1.1% today.
- Pultegroup (PHM[8]): PHM stock is up 1.5% today.
- KBR Inc (KBR[9]): KBR stock is up 1.3% today.
- Ryland Group (RYL[10]): RYL stock is up 1.4% today.
