Capital goods stocks finished up 0.5% on Wall Street on Tuesday.
More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.6%, the Nasdaq was up 1.2% and the S&P 500 climbed 0.6%.
Some of the biggest gainers among capital goods stocks include:
- NCI Building Systems (NCS[1]): NCS stock is up 3.2%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.
- Granite Construction Inc (GVA[2]): GVA stock is up 2.6%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.
- Triumph Group (TGI[3]): TGI stock is up 1.8% today.
- Barnes Group (B[4]): B stock is up 1.8%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has increased.
- Empresas Ica Soc Contrladora (ICA[5]): ICA stock is up 1.8% today and up 25.9% in the last month.
- Fluor Corp (FLR[6]): FLR stock is up 1.6% today.
- Embraer-Empresa Brasileira De Aeronautica (ERJ[7]): ERJ stock is up 1.6%, marking the fifth consecutive day the stock has increased.
- Louisiana-Pacific Corp (LPX[8]): LPX stock is up 1.6%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.
- Dxp Enterprises (DXPE[9]): DXPE stock is up 1.5% today.
- Esterline Technologies Corp (ESL[10]): ESL stock is up 1.5%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has increased.
Some of the biggest losers among capital goods stocks include:
- Caesarstone Sdot-Yam Ltd (CSTE[11]): CSTE stock is down 1.7% today.
- Manitowoc Company (MTW[12]): MTW stock is down 0.4% today.
- Caterpillar Inc (CAT[13]): CAT stock is down 0.3% today.
