Capital goods stocks advanced 0.4% on Wall Street so far on Wednesday.
More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.3%, the Nasdaq declined 0.2% and the S&P 500 increased 0.3%.
Some of the biggest gainers among capital goods stocks include:
- Tutor Perini Corp (TPC[1]): TPC stock is up 9.2% today.
- Dxp Enterprises (DXPE[2]): DXPE stock is up 1.4% today.
- Spirit Aerosystems Holdings (SPR[3]): SPR stock is up 1.1% today and up 25.6% in the last month.
- Flowserve Corp (FLS[4]): FLS stock is up 1.1% today.
- Cummins Inc (CMI[5]): CMI stock is up 1.0% today.
- Vulcan Materials Company (VMC[6]): VMC stock is up 1.1% today.
- Tenaris S.A. (TS[7]): TS stock is up 1.1% today.
- Ingersoll-Rand Plc (Ireland) (IR[8]): IR stock is up 1.0% today.
- Deere & Company (DE[9]): DE stock is up 1.1% today.
- Elbit Systems Ltd (ESLT[10]): ESLT stock is up 1.1% today.
Some of the biggest losers among capital goods stocks include:
- James Hardie Industries Se (JHX[11]): JHX stock is down 1.3% today.
- CRH Plc (CRH[12]): CRH stock is down 3.0% today.
- Zebra Technologies Corp (ZBRA[13]): ZBRA stock is down 1.1% today.
- KB Home (KBH[14]): KBH stock is down 1.1%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.
- Lindsay Corp (LNN[15]): LNN stock is down 0.8%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.
- Embraer-Empresa Brasileira De Aeronautica (ERJ[16]): ERJ stock is down 0.6% today.
- U.S. Silica Holdings Inc (SLCA[17]): SLCA stock is down 0.8% today.
- BE Aerospace (BEAV[18]): BEAV stock is down 0.6% today.
