Capital goods stocks finished up 0.9% on Wall Street on Wednesday.

More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed 0.6%, the Nasdaq fell 0.3% and the S&P 500 pushed 0.6% higher.

Some of the biggest gainers among capital goods stocks include:

• Wesco Aircraft Holdings Inc (WAIR[1]): WAIR stock is up 4.0% today on 2 times normal volume.

• Rockwell Collins (COL[2]): COL stock is up 2.0% today.

• Moog Inc (MOG.A[3]): MOG.A stock is up 1.8% today.

• Heico Corp (HEI[4]): HEI stock is up 1.8% today.

• U.S. Silica Holdings Inc (SLCA[5]): SLCA stock is up 1.7% today and up 20.8% in the last month.

• Fluor Corp (FLR[6]): FLR stock is up 1.5% today.

• Itt Industries (ITT[7]): ITT stock is up 1.2% today.

• Heico Cp Cl A (HEI.A[8]): HEI.A stock is up 1.2% today.

• Harsco Corp (HSC[9]): HSC stock is up 1.3%, marking the sixth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Pall Corp (PLL[10]): PLL stock is up 1.1% today.

Some of the biggest losers among capital goods stocks include:

• Louisiana-Pacific Corp (LPX[11]): LPX stock is down 1.8%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Vulcan Materials Company (VMC[12]): VMC stock is down 1.8%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Eagle Materials Inc (EXP[13]): EXP stock is down 1.0% today.

• Fortune Brands Home & Security (FBHS[14]): FBHS stock is down 0.8%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• NCI Building Systems (NCS[15]): NCS stock is down 0.7%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Triumph Group (TGI[16]): TGI stock is down 0.6% today.

• M.D.C. Holdings (MDC[17]): MDC stock is down 0.6%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.
