Consumer cyclical stocks declined broadly on Wall Street today, with the sector seeing an overall decline of 0.7%.
More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.9%, the Nasdaq declined 0.8% and the S&P 500 was down 0.9%.
Some of the biggest gainers among consumer cyclical stocks include:
- Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company (GT[1]): GT stock is up 2.1% today and up 29.0% in the last month.
- Cooper Tire & Rubber Company (CTB[2]): CTB stock is up 1.3% today.
- Magna International (MGA[3]): MGA stock is up 0.4% today.
- American Axle & Manufacturing (AXL[4]): AXL stock is up 0.3% today.
- Hon Industries Inc (HNI[5]): HNI stock is up 0.2% today.
- Select Comfort Corp (SCSS[6]): SCSS stock is up 0.2% today.
- Tata Motors Ltd (TTM[7]): TTM stock is up 0.1% today.
Some of the biggest losers among consumer cyclical stocks include:
- Mohawk Industries (MHK[8]): MHK stock is down 2.2% today.
- Shutterfly (SFLY[9]): SFLY stock is down 2.1% today.
- Dorman Products (DORM[10]): DORM stock is down 1.9%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.
- Gildan Activewear (GIL[11]): GIL stock is down 1.5%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.
- Delphi Automotive Plc (DLPH[12]): DLPH stock is down 1.5% today.
- Johnson Controls (JCI[13]): JCI stock is down 1.5% today.
- Lear Corp (LEA[14]): LEA stock is down 1.5% today.
- Jarden Corp (JAH[15]): JAH stock is down 1.5% today.
- Gentex Corp (GNTX[16]): GNTX stock is down 1.4%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.
