Energy stocks rose broadly on Wall Street on Monday morning, with the sector seeing an overall increase of 0.4%.
More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 0.1%, the Nasdaq climbed 0.2% and the S&P 500 rose 0.1%.
Some of the biggest gainers among energy stocks include:
- Frank’s International N.V. (FI[1]): FI stock is up 2.7% today.
- Energy Xxi [Bermuda] Limited (EXXI[2]): EXXI stock is up 2.1% today.
- Sm Energy Company (SM[3]): SM stock is up 1.3% today.
- Encana Corp (ECA[4]): ECA stock is up 1.7% today.
- Cimarex Energy Co (XEC[5]): XEC stock is up 1.3% today.
- Comstock Resources (CRK[6]): CRK stock is up 1.7% today.
- Continental Resources (CLR[7]): CLR stock is up 1.5% today.
- Clayton Williams Energy (CWEI[8]): CWEI stock is up 1.4% today.
- Talisman Energy Inc (TLM[9]): TLM stock is up 1.0% today.
- Gulfport Energy Corp (GPOR[10]): GPOR stock is up 1.5% today.
Some of the biggest losers among energy stocks include:
- Eni S.P.A. (E[11]): E stock is down 2.6% today.
- Petroleo Brasileiro S.A.- Petrobras (PBR[12]): PBR stock is down 1.3% today.
- Calumet Specialty Products (CLMT[13]): CLMT stock is down 1.7% today.
- Petroleo Brasileiro S.A.- Petrobras (PBR.A[14]): PBR.A stock is down 1.0% today.
- Peabody Energy Corp (BTU[15]): BTU stock is down 1.0%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.
- Ypf Sociedad Anonima (YPF[16]): YPF stock is down 1.0%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.
- Goodrich Petroleum Corp (GDP[17]): GDP stock is down 1.1% today.
- Interoil Corp (IOC[18]): IOC stock is down 0.4%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has decreased.
- McDermott International (MDR[19]): MDR stock is down 0.7%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has decreased.
- Linn Energy Llc (LINE[20]): LINE stock is down 0.7%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.
