Transportation stocks advanced 1.0% on Wall Street on Thursday morning.

More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average stayed consistent, the Nasdaq rose 0.2% and the S&P 500 was steady.

Some of the biggest gainers among transportation stocks include:

• Kirby Corp (KEX[1]): KEX stock is up 7.7% to a new 52-week high of $108.40.

• Macquarie Infrastructure Company Trust (MIC[2]): MIC stock is up 4.1% to a new 52-week high of $59.86.

• Jetblue Airways Corp (JBLU[3]): JBLU stock is up 3.2%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Con-Way Inc (CNW[4]): CNW stock is up 3.5%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Latam Airlines Group Sa (LFL[5]): LFL stock is up 2.1%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• United Continental Holdings (UAL[6]): UAL stock is up 1.9% today.

• Copa Holdings S.A. (CPA[7]): CPA stock is up 2.2% today.

• Alaska Air Group (ALK[8]): ALK stock is up 2.2%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Southwest Airlines Company (LUV[9]): LUV stock is up 1.7% to a new 52-week high of $24.57.

• Delta Air Lines Inc (DAL[10]): DAL stock is up 1.7% to a new 52-week high of $37.44.

Some of the biggest losers among transportation stocks include:

• American Railcar Industries (ARII[11]): ARII stock is down 15.2% today.

• Hornbeck Offshore Services (HOS[12]): HOS stock is down 7.4% to a new 52-week low of $38.38.

• Genesee & Wyoming (GWR[13]): GWR stock is down 1.9% today.

• Gulfmark Offshore (GLF[14]): GLF stock is down 1.7% today.

• Heartland Express (HTLD[15]): HTLD stock is down 1.2% today.

• Seacor Smit Inc (CKH[16]): CKH stock is down 1.2% today.

• Greenbrier Companies (GBX[17]): GBX stock is down 1.5% today.

• Mobile Mini (MINI[18]): MINI stock is down 1.5% today.

• Werner Enterprises (WERN[19]): WERN stock is down 0.8% today.
