Utilities stocks rose 0.3% on Wall Street on Thursday.

More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average stayed level, the Nasdaq climbed 0.3% and the S&P 500 was unchanged.

Some of the biggest gainers among utilities stocks include:

• Aqua America (WTR[1]): WTR stock is up 1.0% today.

• Calpine Corp (CPN[2]): CPN stock is up 1.0%, marking the seventh consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Cia De Saneamento Basico Do Estado (SBS[3]): SBS stock is up 0.9% today.

• Dcp Midstream Partners LP (DPM[4]): DPM stock is up 0.7%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• One Gas Inc. (OGS[5]): OGS stock is up 0.7% today.

• Enbridge Inc (ENB[6]): ENB stock is up 0.7% to a new 52-week high of $48.61.

• Potomac Electric Power Company (POM[7]): POM stock is up 0.6% to a new 52-week high of $26.93.

• Entergy Corp (ETR[8]): ETR stock is up 0.6% today.

• Exterran Partners L.P. (EXLP[9]): EXLP stock is up 0.5% today.

• Korea Electric Power Corp (KEP[10]): KEP stock is up 0.5% today.

Some of the biggest losers among utilities stocks include:

• Northwestern Corp (NWE[11]): NWE stock is down 0.8%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Cleco Power Llc (CNL[12]): CNL stock is down 0.8% today.

• Southwest Gas Corp (SWX[13]): SWX stock is down 0.7% today.

• Scana Corp (SCG[14]): SCG stock is down 0.7% today.

• Itc Holdings (ITC[15]): ITC stock is down 0.7%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Allete Inc (ALE[16]): ALE stock is down 0.6% today.

• Piedmont Natural Gas Company (PNY[17]): PNY stock is down 0.6%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Markwest Energy Partners LP (MWE[18]): MWE stock is down 0.6% today.
