Vehicles from model years 2011 through 2014 are included in the Hyundai Tucson recall. Hyundai says that bolts that connect the airbag system to the vehicles’ steering columns may become loos, potentially leading to the airbag module to separate from the steering column during an impact. Dealers will examine the bolts and perform tightening where needed.

Those vehicles affected by the Hyundai Tucson recall will be repaired without charge to their owners.

Hyundai Tucson recall will likely start next month. Hyundai says that it has not been notified of any injuries linked to the problem.
