A PayPal exec’s Twitter rant has left him jobless following a series of Tweets aimed at colleagues he called “useless.”

rantAfter just recently being hired as director of strategy for the company — which is owned by eBay (EBAY), Rakesh ‘Rocky’ Agrawal bashed his colleagues – and blamed the public Tweets on not knowing how to use an Android phone.

Agrawal sent a series of bizarre Tweets aimed at co-workers, name-calling and posting angry messages at 1 a.m. in the morning, from New Orleans.

He deleted the tweets and then publicly apologized to PayPal president David Marcus and vice president of growth and global strategy Stan Chudnovsky.

But the damage had been done.

PayPay issued a Tweet of its own, stating that Agrawal had been fired for its “zero tolerance” policy on that type of behavior.

“Rakesh Agrawal is no longer with the company. Treat everyone with respect. No excuses. PayPay has zero tolerance” the Tweet read.

Oddly, the rants weren’t the only odd messages sent.

The tech industry vet strangely stated that he could make Foursquare a $50 billion company.

“I can turn foursquare into a $50 bill OK n company let’s chat,” he tweeted.

Let’s sum this up now: New Orleans. Crazy online messages. 1 a.m.

PayPay is down 5% year to date.
