A PETA ad in the San Diego Airport asks travelers not to visit SeaWorld (SEAS).
The PETA ad features actress Kathy Najimy and reads “Welcome to San Diego! If you love animals like I do, please avoid SeaWorld.” It is located on a wall near Terminal 2 and will be up for one month, reports San Diego 6.
The ad was initially refused by the San Diego Airport, but the American Civil Liberties Union and PETA sued to have it put up. The lawsuit claimed that the airport was being discriminatory against the organization. The lawsuit was settled outside of court and the ad is now in the airport, San Diego 6 notes.
PETA’s initial offer to the San Diego Airport to allow it to put up the ad for a single month was $17,500.
