36 people at an Avicii concert rocked a little too hard and had to be sent to a hospital on Wednesday.
The age group of patients that had to be sent to a hospital during the Avicii concert was 16 to 25. Most of these people were being treated for intoxication and illicit drug use. However, some of them also may have suffered from dehydration, reports USA Today.
“These concerts should be outside … I think it was a combination of heats and drugs, more of the latter,” Chanel Andre, a concert attendee, told KTLA.
Another 50 patients were treated at the concert. Avicii, a Swedish disc jockey, posted to Twitter about the incident saying that he hoped everyone was alright. The DJ recently attended the Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas over the weekend. 25 people were hospitalized at the three-day event and two people died, USA Today notes.
