Biggest Movers in Basic Materials Stocks Now – ROLL CBT SSD SQM

Basic materials stocks rose broadly on Wall Street today, with the sector seeing an overall increase of 0.2%.

More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 0.2%, the Nasdaq pushed 0.4% higher and the S&P 500 increased 0.2%.

Some of the biggest gainers among basic materials stocks include:

• RBC Bearings Inc (ROLL[1]): ROLL stock is up 2.4% today.

• Cabot Corp (CBT[2]): CBT stock is up 2.2%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Simpson Manufacturing Company (SSD[3]): SSD stock is up 1.7% today.

• Sociedad Quimica Y Minera S.A. (SQM[4]): SQM stock is up 1.5% today.

• Circor International (CIR[5]): CIR stock is up 1.3% today.

• Hudbay Minerals Inc (HBM[6]): HBM stock is up 1.3%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Freeport-Mcmoran Copper & Gold (FCX[7]): FCX stock is up 1.3% today.

• Alcoa Inc (AA[8]): AA stock is up 1.2% today.

• Albemarle Corp (ALB[9]): ALB stock is up 1.2%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Precision Castparts Corp (PCP[10]): PCP stock is up 1.1%, marking the fifth consecutive day the stock has increased.

Some of the biggest losers among basic materials stocks include:

• Copene-Petroquimica Do Nordeste (BAK[11]): BAK stock is down 1.7% today.

• Cvr Partners LP Common Units R (UAN[12]): UAN stock is down 1.5%, marking the fifth consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Yamana Gold (AUY[13]): AUY stock is down 1.3% today.

• Graphic Packaging Holding Company (GPK[14]): GPK stock is down 1.1% today.

• Enpro Industries (NPO[15]): NPO stock is down 1.1%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Greif Bros. Corp (GEF[16]): GEF stock is down 1.0% today.

• Glatfelter (GLT[17]): GLT stock is down 1.0% today.

• Air Products and Chemicals (APD[18]): APD stock is down 0.9% today.
