Capital goods stocks finished flat on Thursday on Wall Street.

More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average stayed the same, the Nasdaq was steady and the S&P 500 stayed level.

Some of the biggest gainers among capital goods stocks include:

• Apogee Enterprises (APOG[2]): APOG stock is up 1.4%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• AAR Corp (AIR[3]): AIR stock is up 1.1% today.

• Terex Corp (TEX[4]): TEX stock is up 1.0% today.

• Chart Industries (GTLS[5]): GTLS stock is up 0.8% today.

• M.D.C. Holdings (MDC[6]): MDC stock is up 0.7% today.

• Armstrong World Industries Inc (AWI[7]): AWI stock is up 0.6%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Donaldson Company (DCI[8]): DCI stock is up 0.6% today.

• Applied Industrial Technologies (AIT[9]): AIT stock is up 0.5% today.

• Sensata Technologies Holding N.V. (ST[10]): ST stock is up 0.5% today.

Some of the biggest losers among capital goods stocks include:

• Mastec Inc (MTZ[11]): MTZ stock is down 2.0% today on 3 times normal volume.

• Toro Company (TTC[12]): TTC stock is down 1.0%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Toll Brothers Inc (TOL[13]): TOL stock is down 0.9% today.

• SPX Corp (SPW[14]): SPW stock is down 0.8% today.
